FROZEN JR. ALTERNATIVE REHEARSAL PLAN!

Good afternoon Frozen Jr. family,

Let me begin by saying what a wonderful rehearsal process we have had so far! The level of talent and dedication in our cast has been abundantly clear from the first workshop. We have been placed into a very unfortunate position but as the old saying goes, "the show must go on." At this time, we have no intention of cancelling the show and will do everything in our power to ensure that audiences will see Frozen Jr. at JJH this year!

Our first and most important request is for everyone to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Please encourage and begin the memorization process for all lines, songs, dances, and blocking that have already been taught. This is vital. We have already learned about 1/3 of the show, which is an amazing start. Anything that has been taught so far should be memorized by the next time we have a rehearsal in person, whenever that may be.

Next, we have begun outlining several plans for the various outcomes that can arise over the next few weeks. We would like you to fill out a questionnaire that will give the directors better insight into what is possible on your end.

This includes PLAN A; where rehearsals will resume after spring break. In this scenario, we would like to hold virtual rehearsals via Google Hangouts over the next two weeks. This will require students to have access to a device (i.e.smartphone, tablet, chromebook, PC) with internet and a microphone. The directors will be leading rehearsals via teleconference while the necessary cast members are at home listening and watching from a screen.

PLAN B would take place if rehearsals cannot continue after spring break and/or we would need to push back the performance dates.

Please fill this form out ASAP and we look forward to this moment being a distant memory in the rear-view mirror.

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,
Alex Buda & Sabrina Hector
